Hello! Tamara here today with a fun travel card to share. I created this card using the “Well Traveled” collection. It is such an amazing travel theme. It has a vintage feel to it with a great color palette.
To create this card I made a shape using my eCal software and digital die cutting machine. There is a basic shapes library that you can use within the software. I welded a rectangle and a diamond shape like so:
Then I just made a copy of my shape and welded two of them together to create the card base. I inked the edges in gray. Then I cut a slightly smaller shape and layered it on the front of the card base. Again, I inked the edges and then embellished with the “Well Traveled” stickers and chipboard. I cut the map out from the “Travel Cards” paper and slightly bent the edges up for some dimension.
DESIGN TIP: Rotate some of your alpha letters onto the sides to create a different and fun look.
